Advanced Dental Technology
When it comes to dental technology, Dr. Steven M. Huffstutler believes it must be utilized at the right time, in the right way, for the right patient. When used in the proper context, our dental technology enhances our already high level of patient care and allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Digital X-Rays
Not only do digital X-rays dramatically reduce radiation exposure, they do not require the use of special papers or chemicals, so they are better for the environment than traditional radiography. In addition, digital X-ray records can be sent to insurance companies and specialists with a few clicks of the mouse, saving time and allowing you to receive your treatment faster. Finally, digital X-rays can be projected onto a digital monitor, meaning that Dr. Huffstutler can zoom in for a close-up view of your oral structures which can lead to a more accurate diagnosis and more conservative treatment.
Intraoral Cameras
During your checkup, Dr. Huffstutler will use a tiny, digital intraoral camera to snap close-up pictures of your teeth, gums, and other areas of your mouth. Those images will then be transferred to a monitor, where he can show you exactly where the trouble spots in your smile are. These images help you learn more about your oral health and how to maintain it, and they allow Dr. Huffstutler to provide you with a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
KöR Deep Bleaching System
Professional teeth whitening trays are an excellent treatment option for patients with moderately stained or discolored teeth. Unfortunately, people with severe extrinsic staining (such as deeply set tobacco stains) need a more aggressive treatment option. That’s where the innovative KöR Deep Bleaching System can help. Using a concentrated whitening formula and a unique two-phase treatment, KöR can address even the most stubborn instances of teeth staining.
