Looking for a fun and unexpected way to spend some time as a family this August? Want to help your kids learn about nature and the many animals that call it home? Wishing there was more adventure in your lives? Well, why not take part in the upcoming Nature: Night Hike, at the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area? During this event trail guides will be helping hikers of all ages to enjoy a twilight hike through one of the LLELA’s many nature trails. Your family won’t want to miss the excitement!
Want to Get Involved In This or Other Hikes?
This hike is perfect for anyone five-years-old or older, making it a great family night activity. The hike costs just $11.50 per person, and will kick off at 8 p.m. on August 26, 2017.
Lewisville Lake also hosts kayak tours, bird walks, fishing days, campfires, and many more family-friendly activities.
The LLELA is open seven days a week. Summer hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, now through October 31, when winter hours will kick in, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is closed on holidays, however.
