Love Anime? You’ll Want to Visit the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth in AugustHave you always loved anime? If so, don’t miss the upcoming Anime Film Festival at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, during which the museum will be featuring several films in the unique Japanese animation style known as anime. Each of the screenings will take place in the museum’s auditorium. From August 4 to August 12 you can catch several recently released films that cover a variety of topics. 

What Films Can You Catch This Summer?

The Modern Art Museum is located at 3200 Darnell Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Admission to the museum is just $9 for adults, and $5 for kids 12-years-old and younger. Modern members also receive discounted admission, at just $8 for adults.

August 4’s feature is being described as “not kid-friendly.” It is called Miss Hokusai, from 2015, and it is rated PG-13.

Saturday, August 5’s feature will be Miyazaki’s Flights of Fantasy Double Feature, which focuses on the passion and love of flight. PG-rated Porco Rosso will be played at noon, and PG-13 The Wind Rises will show at 2:15.

Then on Saturday, August 12, the museum will host a Fantastic Friends double feature.

Ponyo will be played noon, and A Letter to Momo will be shown at 2:15.
