If your mom loves Texas and anything cowboy or cowgirl, she is going to love the National Cowgirl Museum.

The only museum in the world dedicated to honoring women of the American West for their extraordinary courage and pioneering spirit, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the trailblazing efforts of these strong women. The 33,000 square-foot Hall of Fame is located on the Will Rogers Memorial Complex in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District. It features interactive exhibit galleries with artifacts from the permanent collection, a traveling exhibit gallery, two theaters, gift shop, research library, and archives. The museum’s archives house more than 4000 artifacts and information about more than 750 remarkable women.
